Miguel Ramirez is the Director of Programs and Community Engagement in the Institutional Diversity and Equity Office. Miguel's expertise is in relationship development, project planning and management, and conflict resolution. He is also passionate about creative problem-solving and breaking down silos to foster a stronger community.

In previous roles, Miguel worked on social enterprise development and renewable energy market creation in resource-constrained countries in Eastern and Southern Africa. He has a Masters in Conflict Resolution from the University of Bradford, where he focused on post-conflict reconstruction, human security, and mediation. He also has Philosophy and Psychology degrees from the University of Texas at Austin.
