Employee Resource Networks (ERNs)
Dartmouth College seeks to create communities of globally engaged talent and foster collaboration between senior leaders, staff, and faculty via Employee Resource Networks (ERNs). ERNs support the College's efforts in retaining, recruiting, and advancing the under-represented members within the Dartmouth community. ERNs elevate voices and provide resources, mentorship, social networking, and career development for all members.
These networks are open to all employees who wish to join and aim to foster a more inclusive environment, enhance the sense of belonging within the institution, and strengthen connections within the Dartmouth community and beyond.

ERN Professional Development Grant
This program provides benefits-eligible Dartmouth College employees (full-time and part-time) who are active within an Employee Resource Network(s), with the opportunity to receive a limited number of grants to help cover professional development costs related to inclusion and belonging. Preference will also be given to applicants who have not previously applied and to a limited number of ERN leaders. The application deadline is 9 am on Monday, October 6, 2025, and grant recipient announcements will begin on Friday, October 17. Learn more and apply!

The Black Caucus is an employee resource network (ERN) that supports Dartmouth College faculty and staff from the African diaspora. The group's efforts center on community building, representation, recruitment, retention, and professional development and include programming with students and Dartmouth Health (formerly Dartmouth-Hitchcock) employees. Disability ERN (DERN)
The Disability ERN exists to create a welcoming, safe space for employees with disabilities of any kind and those who are caregivers, parents, allies, or friends of someone with a disability. Our goal is to build community, share resources from Dartmouth and the Upper Valley, celebrate both triumphs and challenges, and enjoy each other’s authentic selves together.
