Alex Bramsen (she/her/hers) is the Program Coordinator for International Student Experience working alongside the new Director Dr. Seun Olamosu under the Division of Institutional Diversity and Equity. She started working in this position in November 2023 when it was previously under OPAL. In her role she has been supporting the undergraduate international student community and is excited to be expanding that support to include graduate professional international students.

A Dartmouth '22, she previously worked with OPAL as a student coordinator involved mainly in international student programming, namely the International Student Mentoring and Pre-Orientation Programs. After graduating with a degree in Geography modified with Environmental Studies, Alex spent a year post-baccalaureate as a Fellow with Dartmouth's Geography Department as a TA and researching in topics related to sustainable international development.

Alex is a Zimbabwean national, but grew up and graduated high school in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Happy with a warm cup of spiced or herbal tea, she loves a vast variety of music genres, anything theater and playing basketball. Going forward, she is overjoyed to continue her work and time in the US with Dartmouth's international student community across the institution. English is her first language, but she also speaks some Kiswahili and French. Feel free to say hi and let her know how your day is going when you see her around.
