Biography

Eryne Jenkins is excited to join the Institutional Diversity and Equity team as the incoming Special Projects and Research Manager. Her experience spans public health programadministration, evaluation, and consultation, as well as community-based research.

Eryne most recently worked with Dartmouth's Sexual Violence Prevention Project. Fueled by her lived experience navigating services for family members facing various medical conditions that could have been prevented, Eryne is committed to initiating systems-level, evidence-based change through her work. Her primary focus has been to expand opportunities for individuals that are underserved by health care and higher education institutions.

A native of Magnolia, Delaware, Eryne is active in the community with the Red Cross and as an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She is committed to empowering Black middle school-aged youth as Board Chair of Dear Diary, Inc, an organization that existsto foster economic and personal advancementinBlack girlsto enable them to build wealth, achieve professional success, and become influential leaders within their communities and beyond.

Eryne holds Bachelor's degrees in biology and environmental studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She will earn a Master of Public Health from the Geisel School of Medicine in June 2024. She enjoys exploring nature trails, learning languages (Mandarin Chinese and Serbo-Croatian, currently!), and traveling with friends and family.
