About the Reading Group

This program is designed to unite people from all areas of the College, expand participants' awareness and appreciation of inclusion and belonging issues and opportunities, promote open and extended discussion, provide paths to conflict resolution, and serve as another bridge within the Dartmouth community.

All Dartmouth staff and faculty whether 100% remote or regularly on campus can participate. Participants choose which book they would like to read and then will be instructed on how to receive a free copy. For those that need an accommodation, we will work directly with you so that you can participate in a way that works best for you. Throughout the year we also hold optional community book discussions and provide discussion questions and, when possible, book summaries in advance.
