Diversity Reading Group
About the Reading Group
The Diversity Reading Group (DRG) is designed to unite staff and faculty from all areas of the College, expand awareness and appreciation of diversity issues, consider paths to conflict resolution, and enhance community at Dartmouth. To do this, participants receive free copies of fiction and non-fiction books and throughout the year have the option to come together as a community to discuss the book in small and large groups. In advance of these community events, IDE will provide discussion questions and do its best to source book summaries for participants to refresh their understanding of the book.
The DRG is available to all staff and faculty whether 100% remote or regularly on campus.
Where schedules allow, IDE can provide small group book discussions for offices and departments on campus. For additional information, contact us at institutional.diversity.and.equity@dartmouth.edu.
